GBA EZFlash Omega DE flashcart Time Setting not saving

Hello I can't seem to get the time setting for the EZFlash Omega DE to stick.
After I change the date/time in settings it eventually erases and goes back to the default date/time after one/multiple restarts.
Anyone else run into this issue?
I'm updated to the most recent official kernal 1.03 firmware 6.0

Rumble pak is installed after production of pcb.
Flux remains after hand soldering.
It easily goes up and coats the battery terminals.

Remove coin battery.
Clean pcb pad and battery with 99% ipa.
reinstall battery and check.
if not solved replace cr1025 battery

 

[EZ-Flash2]

If the clock reset to 2000 year every boot up, it means the coin battery on the card is out of juice. please replace it. The battery type is CR1025.
