Fizeau - Adjust color of your Switch screen

Fizeau
test.png

Adjust the color of the screen of your Nintendo Switch.

Features:
  • Modify the color temperature of the display.
  • Filter colors to one single component.
  • Apply color corrections: gamma, luminance, and color range.
  • Control the screen backlight brightness.
  • Schedule settings to be applied to dusk/dawn time, with smooth transitions.
Installation:
Download the latest zip from the release page, unzip it to the root of your sd card (be careful to merge and not overwrite folders), and reboot.
Only the latest version of the Atmosphère CFW is supported.
If you want to use the overlay, you will need to set up Tesla (install Tesla-Menu and ovlloader). This isn't supported on firmware versions prior to 9.0.0.

Supported firmwares:
All firmares are expected working. The software was tested working on 1.0.0, 2.0.0, 6.0.0 and 10.1.0. If you encounter an issue running this on a particular version, please create an issue.
Settings:
  • Settings are saved at /switch/Fizeau/config.ini, which you can also edit.
  • To reduce the memory usage of the sysmodule, settings are not read continually. Instead, they are applied on application launch. Thus, you will need to launch the client after a reboot to restart Fizeau.

This works fine for me. Do you have any "unusual" system setting enabled regarding sleep or docked mode?
No, it only happen since you fixed crashes on last versions, test and official, but to be sure, what settings you mean? To take a look at it

I'm thinking of "Wake When AC Adapter is Disconnected" in particular.
Otherwise it would be nice if you could confirm it's indeed coming from Fizeau, and that the issue happens with a clean atmosphère install.

I dont know if this is possible, but can you add a feature where you can automatically set when autobrightness turns on and off.
For example: i want auto brightness to be on when it's 8 am to 10 pm and autobrightness off (and at the lowest brightness state) from 10 pm to 8 am

The new release keeps throwing me an error when trying to load it via tesla. I am on AMS 1.7.0 and FW17.0.1

New release: https://github.com/averne/Fizeau/releases/tag/v2.5.0
See changelog for the full description. It should fix many longstanding issues.
With this version, the config is not saved, every time I open fizeau (ovl or nro) config is reseted, same happen when reboot
Post automatically merged:

I checked the config file, and it's not saved, still the same as default, it only works if I edit the file manually

Works fine here, just tested with both possible config locations.
Try rebooting? Maybe you didn't delete the chainloader folder and that's messing with your config files. It should get delete automatically on reboot.

I deleted the chainloader folder on contents, what are the two possible config locations? I tested again and now it does not auto apply, it's strange

/switch/Fizeau/config.ini and /config/Fizeau/config.ini
I tried both, and it don't work, changes are not saved, I tried editing with OVL and NRO, it only work if I edit it manually as I said, and it does not auto apply, the config only apply when open NRO, open OVL does nothing
Post automatically merged:

I was rebooting from ultrahand, and for some reason it was not auto applied, now a reboot with power button fixed everything, I don't understand what was happening, I tried send the files with FTP and with USB, and nothing works, and a simply reboot with power button fixed it? My switch was trolling me, lol
Post automatically merged:

Tried with my other switch, and same happened, to fix it, I opened NRO to apply my ini, rebooted with power button, and all is fixed

There a couple inconsistencies in config parsing code that I'm fixing. You can try the build here and check that everything is working.

Latest version (2.5.1) is working great in all aspects on FW 18.0.1.
App/Profiles/Overlay all work well, including applying setting after reboot :D Thank you!
I don't ever play docked so didn't test this.

I'm mostly upgrading his hd, he has a 120gb in it now, lol, gonna give him a 2tb (1.5tb), not sure if he has it cfw or not, i haven't even turned it on yet. Ill mess w it tomorrow, I'm busy killing clowns right now.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, So old-skool.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea ps3HEN is fine, don't mess with what's not broken. The HEN version irc is for the super Slims, and CFW (evilnat) for other models
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@SylverReZ, also what are the differences with ps3hen and evilnat?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
They both basically do the same
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
@BigOnYa ice cream cake is fucked either way

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    @SylverReZ,
@BigOnYa ok i read that the super slim model (the one i have) isnt compatible with cfw and that "HEN is the next best thing, it is a semi jailbreak applied on top of the OFW system software, it is geared towards console models that aren't CFW compatible, you can run homebrew, play backups but you cannot use customised system files & must reapply your customisations & HEN after every boot."
