Hacking Flashing A lite-on without paying or soldering anything?

Is there anyway to flash a fat Lite-on drive without paying or soldering? Thanks.

Soldering is not neccesary but you will need a probe and a recognized SATA connection at a minimum to place the drive in vendor mode. So it's either pay someone to do it for you or buy proper hardware to do it yourself. It's all explained at the jungleflasher or xecuter site.

Generally, though, you can find the Probe for about $20 online, or you could make your own (search it on the forums here, I know someone made a tutorial). It involves a very minimal amount of soldering skills, but it should get the job done. I'm kind of in the same boat as you, as I've hurt both my hands in various accidents and can't keep them still long enough to solder anything.

If you are not bothered about Live or the possiblity of your box being banned, it is 100% possible to flash the liteon without buying anything, I should know Ive done it, several times!.

You use the 360 to power the drive, connect SATA to a sata port on PC, as long as Jjungleflasher works ok with your chipset, your all good on that side.

for the probe, google PMT hack. I didnt even use a switch, and hacked my actual 360 dvd power cable, and once done, simply twisted em back and slapped on some electrical tape.
