Obviously it's too early to speculate, but there seems to be a trend with Australian copies working.
Just tried a copy I bought locally, and it worked fine the first time.
If there's anything else you guys want to know about it, just ask.

Voting yes for poll and not counting Old 3DS test. Both systems' SD cards are 32 GB.

I just tried on mine with 4.5 and it hangs with the music still playing.

I didn't read the whole thread so i don't know if someone mentioned this before. It's normal for R4i Save Dongle or should i say for 3DS games that the saves of different versions are not compatible.
I already had this 2 or 3 times. Afriend of mine bought the 3DS bundled with Super Mario 3D Land and he lend the game to me. I played it really far the i bought me a copy of the game. I tried to transfer the save over to my copy of the game but i had no luck. Everytime i started the game it told me "the save data is corrupted". I tried the same with Resident Evil Revelations and that save did just fine.
The 2 super Mario 3D Lands were different Versions. But this does not mean your game won't work anyways to do the exploit. you only need a save which is fitting to your version.

Considering it isn't giving a save data corrupt method, I'd be re-copying the save and launcher, and giving it a few more tries. Sounds like you're on the brink of getting it working.

Yeah, it works every time on the N3DS, but not at all on the O3DS. Is it supposed to? Not that I care, it's a 4.5 so can use the DS profile exploit.

Every O3DS user I've seen try it has had issues, so I suppose this is specifically for the N3DS, while others can continue to use the browser or DS Profile method.

My EUR game probably works, it doesn't say corrupt save on my O3DS. But it freezes because it's in 4.5.
So I'm willing to trade it with a working JAP one

PS : It's a LNA-CTR-AQEP-EUR bought in 2011 the day of the launch.

Why not. If it can load launcher.dat without the web exploit, it would mean never having to enable wifi and accidentally updating.

Using sonic2756's fix, my cart now works and I am backing up my system nand.

It didn't work with the sav that gateway supplied but sonic's worked.

Just rename his AQEEFIX.sav to AQEE.sav
