Is the red card a 3DS emulator ?
How about spending all the money you have saved being a dirty pirate and buying a secondary device, just for lame ass pokemon, and you wont have to keep it under your pillow at night in a lead lined pillowcase to protect it from updating either....
How do you know this?
If I am in the 4.3 firmware and I launch a backup with the 4.5 update, what will happen?
Yes but. Can I update my 3DS from 4.3 to 4.5 with a backup on my Gateway 3DS? That's my only question, and I still got no answer. It will keep asking you to update your 3DS every time you run it until you do, otherwise you can't play that game.

I just don't want to get my 3DS bricked and I got no retail game with this update.why not just update with a retail game if your worried about bricking
you can always test it when you get yours tho

Anyway I just sent a message to the GW3DS team and I am waiting for them to answer me.
No. I just wanted to know if someone already tried it.so you would rather someone else risk theres instead, your so considerate
Wait so is it 1 game per SD card? And your save file never saves? That is all.
- Games run smoothly. Can't see any graphical hindrances or slowdowns. More testing is needed.
- So far I've tried LoZ, NSMB2, and PMSS.
- Saves are in .sav format. I've tried to change out the save with one from a R4i Save Dongle. Says the save data is corrupt.
- Even though it was guaranteed not to work I tried a European rom, which didn't show up in the 3DS' menu.

but,,,some games save on the cartridge it self ( most )Your save gets transfered to sd card, and yes its 1 game at a time on microsd, you have to use win32 disk imager or similar to write image to microsd.
i guess every game have different id , soo, taking save file from another user will be uselessSaves are in .sav format. I've tried to change out the save with one from a R4i Save Dongle. Says the save data is corrupt.
They said they were sending the retailers' cards soon after they send the reviewers'. I estimate "within a few weeks."Emailed GW team asking for info on when cards should hit retailers. Waiting on a response. inb4 "within a few weeks".
