Someone already posted this in another thread but I guess it's worth making a whole new thread for it.

I woke up this morning (a little late), saw the blue light, read the SpotPass message and jumped to the eShop. I found that the games could be downloaded despite the fact that the SpotPass message said the 16th.

If you want proof, click here.

Some posters are reporting that they cannot download the games by changing their region to Australia.

EDIT: Great, I made a typo in the title. Can someone correct it for me? >.>;
Thanks for the correction.

Screw you Australia! You get your shiny new GBA betas first..

Then again, ATM, I am in Hong Kong, so I wonder if I can still get my games..
I'm actually overseas in China, so yes you should be able to get them when your region releases them. Since starting the download before posting this thread, I still haven't finished. Still two to go. Damn crappy Chinese internet.

IKR, Internet here is slow-ass.

Hopefully, you're right.

Now to wait until NoA releases those precious bytes.

Great news for you Australians! I don't have a rush since this IS after all old titles. But I'm really looking forwards boosting thru Metroid Fusion one time and maybe fire up Zelda: Minish Cap.

Even as a joke, saying "Screw you Australia" isn't funny, just because you guys don't get something first for once...

I get the air that you guys halfheartedly mean it.

For some instances, Australians are left in the dust for months after US releases etc.

    Ps5 emulation? Why
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I always thought Saturn emulation would straight up be impossible
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Just the atchiture is insanely complex
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
That's why it annoys me when people rant about things being impossible when it comes to software some things should just be focused on more than others
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
because they want to flex their insane developer skills ofc
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
We have ps5 exploits where's an article talking about ps5 emulation?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
if i wanted to play gb games on a touch screen device i would just use my phone
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
    heres ps4/5
emulation (it is far from playing actual games yet but its something) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qe71pCjC9U
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I thought PS4/5 and Xbox One emulation would be kind of easy since they basically just a PC
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
    they sorta are a pc
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They haslve dedicated on board chips that aren't tweaked like x64/x32 afaik
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
but its a custom os for both of them
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
    designed for only specific hardware
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
so you have to learn to emulate that specific hardware which isn't as easy as you'd think
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
It's a locked down Linux distro basically
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think the only custom hardware is to do with the SSD and a security chip
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    Probably combined in one chip
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
They place married security chips onto boards iirc
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Damn Frontier is offering 5Gbps now lol
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I honestly can't recommend any of the big 3 this years I'd say buy a rog ally z1 if we're being honest
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Honestly after the PS3 and 360 I just went full PC
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Every games basically cross platform they only have about 6 titles making it worth the $600 price tag
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Didn't see much need for a console, all the advantages have kind of disappeared
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
the ps3 used to support installing linux because the cpu was so powerful
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Then the games are $70 and they want to reboot and refresh the same game every year
