Hey all,

I just started to hack my old 3ds according to the 3ds hack guide website. I updates to the latest firmware and started with the seedminer hack. Following everything step by step, and going great. Untill I needed to boot up Godmode9, it just doesn’t boot up. So started searching other posts and tried the boot.firm adding to the payloads folder, starting up luma first and then push start 3 times and hold on the final one. Setting the internal clock, it al didn’t work. It just starts up normally to the homescreen. I have downloaded the latest V2.0 from godmode all recommended from 3ds hack guide. Also quadruple checked spelling and backtracking steps to see if I missed something. Can’t find anything.

I am not an expert in these things, just a newb following instructions. Is there a way to maybe force start godmode without the start + power so I adjust everything I need to do and just go on? Or do you have any tips? Would love some help, thanks!

Questions:
Is B9S already installed? Can you access Luma3DS settings by holding (Select) on power on? In case Luma3DS settings start: Does it say "Booted from SD via B9S" on the bottom of the lower screen?
Are the (Start) and the (Select) button working normally in games?

The correct path is SD:/luma/payloads/GodMode9.firm

you might see what happens if you rename godmode to boot.firm and place it on the root of the sd card. it should boot godmode immediately. I think your luma is working since you have those folders.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

btw, setting the clock shouldn't matter. godmode uses the rtc time, which you can set in godmode itself.

yes luma works no problem. It also says Booted from SD via B9S. Ad the path is also the same

Yes luma is working, should I replace the current boot.firm in the root of the sd card? Offcourse save it as a back up
