I bought a cheap Xbox to HDMI adaptor on ebay and the stereo audio was swapped left to right. Was very annoying.

As an FYI, these only output composite through HDMI and the 720p and 1080p switch merely actions a '720p' or '1080p' on screen display text.

I found this out after purchasing one for my soft modded xbox and switching from PAL to NTSC mode to get the additional 480p/720p/1080i modes and finding they were missing. Putting my component cables back in and those options were available.
