i do spend a lot of time fiddling with my wii but definately use it for games for longer periods of time. according to my message board i play on average about 5 hours a day on games, so at least 2 hours a day up to the most 9 hours a day. the games i play the most are wii sports resort, wii sports, tiger woods10, grand slam tennis, boomblox bash party, mario kart, excite bots, SMG, conduit, call of duty world at war, deadly creatures.
on top of that i do spend a good half hour on average tweeking beardface's coverflow loader graphics to my liking on any said day, and about half hour a day on these forums.

Rarely ever spend time messing around with the Wii. I only recently updated from 3.2 to 4.1. If it's working, and does everything I want to, I won't touch it.

Haha this funny poll because I never play the wii games (over 100). I just mess with it all time. I just play my ps3 and xbox 360 (funny cuz neither of them is modded in anyway).

same here! the whole idea of software piracy is definitely more attractive to me than the idea of videogaming. once i manage to run illegally downloaded game, and make sure it's working properly - i lose interest in it - apart from rare occasions, where i am attracted enough to buy a legitimate copy of a game to support the dev/programmer/designer

We play on it more than tweak it. Dont see the point in just doing something for the sake of it , the wii's a game console play with it or get rid otherwise whats the point .

but that IS the point - some of us just enjoy tweaking it more than playing. Why should i get rid of it if i enjoy it? because you say so?

I wholeheartidly put my hand up and say I've probably had more enjoyment out of the Wii by hacking it, customising it, running various homebrew on it, updating it's cIOS/IOS etc. then I have playing the games for the damn thing

No i play play play. but until i had it installed and updated i was on here reading and reading and asking questions and more queestions . just to be sure.

If i wanted something to tinker with id have bought a mark II escort . It gets updated as necessary then played with its as simple as that. You like tinkering with it good for you. Personally im not stupid enough to spend 180 quid of my own money on a console to "tinker" with it.

Oh yea, totally. This is the first time I've played a burnt Wii game in months and it was for 20 minutes and I spent at least 4 hours today messing around with me and my friend's Wiis.

Ill spend ages fiddling with it, most of my fiddles are to make me able to play games. So once i have fiddled ill play, but its a poor fiddle to play ratio

I purchased a Wii when it first came out purely to Later run homebrew, all the cios hacks are just an extra perk now. It is fun to tinker around with stuff that is normally forbidden or not so widely known, hacking my wii led me to places like this. And I do spend a fair amount of time posting and sharing information when needed.
