Hacking Has anyone released how to change pics & banners?

I have been looking for days have yet to find anything on if it can be donw for sure and how it can be done
I can live with dk2 pics for now but if there are ways to change them and still be able to do a sd backup it would be great to know
I noticed on the homebrew video they had a custom channel and a makeshift banner so wondered if it was avalable yet?

To my knowledge no one has released a tool to change the channel's background picture yet, however the banner tool has been around for some time. Of course you could grab a hex editor and have a go manually.

Paradox has released a NES emulator channel with custom banners so hopefully a tool will be released very soon.

The website in their banner doesn't seem to have it available (actually I have no clue where to go).

Although I'm not really a graphics whore, I do like this banner-thing workign out. Hope they will release a stable version of the application that did that for them in the near future.

between nes and homebrew chan at least we know it can be done
but still be nice to be able to do it has anyone installed this nes channel
looks to be a on a disc in pictures not installed

if you wanna change the banner, i say you should wait till trucha signer comes with an update wich allows you to modifiy and resign vc games

had 3 psp bricks at one time 2 of the 3 unbricked now not sure why other one wont unbrick owell

I would be mad at myself if i bricked my wii but its half dead now anyway wiiconnect24 overheated the wii and gpu has nice glitches with lines all over the screen still playable for the most part if you can look past the lines lol

yeah well have another motherboard coming with a good gpu
and I do not know much about trucha signer I hear enough about it I guess ill look it up

and why would it be bricked with a croocked banner???

A corrupted banner would show a black banner or crash, but brick the Wii ? I highly doubt it's true

actually, it IS possible. the wii first scans all the installed channels, if a corrupted 000000.app is among them, the wii WILL fail to boot up.
