Hacking HBB taking extremely slow to DL & Extract from USB

For some reason it takes an over extended amount of time for me to download apps and extract them when running the hbb from my usb drive. Any one know why this may be?

Here's an example its taking almost 8mins to extract WiiRadio to my USB drive but would have been already done if i used my SD card

The HBB only uses USB 1.1 and therefore is PAINFULLY slow when dealing with USB devices.

Also, most portable hard drives cannot read and write at the same time, so it may be trying to take turns loading graphics or part of the app for the HBB and then writing the ZIP/its contents.
