Hermes cIOS 222, 223 and 224?

there's been a couple threads in this same vein before on here even down to having to do with just dance but i tried following those and they either didnt work / im not sure if it may cause issues

i have a just dance mod. it doesn't launch because it requires hermes cIOS 222 - 224 apparently. i can't ask the dev because they abandoned the mod & stopped working on it a few years ago & also doesn't want to be asked about it. how do i go about installing it & would it cause issues if ive already followed the basic stuff on wii hacks guide for cIOS? im very new to all this and dont know much about modding and itd be embarrassing if i managed to brick my wii for the sake of playing just dance mods of all things.

also please explain to me like im stupid

Use modmii, enable its hermes cios option, then either use its main Modmii Wizard or drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do

You could also try different d2x cios bases instead of hermes (I. E. Change game ios to slots 248-251 and see if one works) as some are reported to work with just dance, perhaps it will work with this just dance mod too

Edit: obviously no issues with proceeding with any of the things I suggested. Modmii and the wii hacks guide are aligned
