Been browsing the forum, and most people only have around 2GB SD Cards for ROMs etc. Ironically i was downloading 40 of my favourite roms whilst discovering this. And i mean 40 just as starter.

I have a 16GB Memory card.. and i hope to get another one soon. But considering once you get the games, homebrew and the odd movie or whatever. How do you survive? Or do people buy FlashCarts to play 2games >>

I only use a 1GB card. I play games one or two at a time. I dedicate my time to completing them, and then when they're done, I delete them and replace with something else/new. I rarely go back and play games I've completed anyway.

Yeah, that. I've had a 1gb card for years now, and its served me fine, I mean I'd rather have a few good games (either that im still playing/completing, or GTA-ish sandbox games), than a card full of crap games ive only got about 10% of the way through, and will never return to. Deleting is your friend

There is a reason flashcarts have SDHC support
I have a 8GB micro-sd
I use some space of it for movies and pictures, but the rest is all for games

Feels good having so many games
And I try to complete the most of them
I usually game in the car (while not driving)/plane/when we're at family

Since I mostly buy games I really like, I don't even know what else to put on my 2GB micro SD. I think I have like 5 NDS games on there, plus the Giana Sisters homebrew game.

I have a 2GB card for the games that I am really playing, and a 4GB card for a bunch of fun games that I love to play, like Tetris, MKDS advance wars etc.

Trim the games have about 20 game on the card and still have room. Have an Ipod 80gb classic for movie watching and music.

i started out with a 128mb card, now i have a 2gb and a 1gb card.

the 2gb card contains my complete ds collection as backups.

the 1gb card contains some music, some videos and the newest games to try before buy.

I am in the 1 gig club as well (although I have two of them; one for each slot).

Most of the time I have serious trouble trying to fill one of them up. Admittedly I still rip junk from roms.

Failing that tetris DS, tetris 2 nes and Tetris: The Grand Master and POWDER are some serious time sinks.

I don't really fall into that category since I have a 4GB microSDHC, but on the other hand - in that space I only keep 2 NDS games and a single GBA game. Having few games on your memorycard makes it much easier to focus on playing through those games in my opinion.

I've got a 2GB one. I don't EVER trim my NDS games, so they occupy quite a bit... and most of the times I just jump from a game to another and I end up not finishing them

I just bought a 4GB SDHC Kingston card, but mainly for the speed boost. I've always had 1GB cards and found them more than sufficient. I usually carry just a few games with me: Tetris DS, Pokémon Diamond, Peggle DS, Puzzle Quest: CoT... The rest of the space is filled with games on rotation. I play them, I get rid of them. I usually have three or four games I won't be playing for some time just to remind myself of playing them...

I don't pirate games as often anymore. It's always nice to have the actual game cartridge in the actual box.

But honestly, there was so much complaining about the R4 and it's lack of SDHC, and as it turns out most people don't even need more than 2 GB.

uh....just delete the old ones you're no longer playing? personally, i play only 3 or 4 games at a time. once i'm done, i delete them and put on new ones. it's common sense...

Not all my rom space is for games, and i like to try different games on the go. Rather then keep swapping them always. I have alot of South Park which i watch on the Metro alot as well. And alot of my spare time is used by my NDS, therefore its good for me to have a variety to pick from.

I would rather have around 30games which i can work my way through in a year then keep swapping them, i hate limits tbh overall haha.

And its better value to get a 16GB then a 8GB for example as well.

E.g. my space on my 16GB Memory Card

4GB - NDS Roms
512MB - GBA Roms
1GB - Other Console Roms
500MB - Homebrew
5 GB - Videos
1GB - Pictures

16 - 12.12 = 3.88GB Spare.

-----------------------------------------

I also have a ton of roms that i have my PC which i could load up onto the M3Real as well, but i like having some space left over.

And i have alot more NDS Roms on my PC which i dont load up.
