Hacking How many bad blocks do you have in your NAND?

I have around 15 bad block. Marcan says that you can have up to 80 bad block before the Wii starts acting strange.

I don't think it's physically possible to add more bad blocks after you buy it, unless you're drilling holes through your SSD...

No less? Huh. I have -4 bad blocks, my Wii can hold 560KB more than factory default.

I think it was 7 or 8. Also, to those who are upset about how many bad blocks they have, I think it was Bushing himself who said that it wouldn't be unusual for anyone to have a few bad blocks out of the factory (that it is, in fact, normal). IIRC he said something like that you could have even 80 bad blocks and your Wii would function still.

The ones with no bad blocks are the unusual ones.

How is it possible that the marked blocks are gone for some people?

I would say that you have less free blocks when checking in the system menu. But I think you won't notice it at all. Just my thought.
