Hacking How to autostart a loader on startup?

I know you can do this but could someone push me in the right direction? Basically i want it so that when the Wii starts up i will automatically start and load a usb loader channel.

WOuld like the wii to automatically load the Configurable USB Loader Channel located in \sd\apps folder. Normally i have to open HBC and open it or install it as an app. None of which are convenient. Since i don't use the wii for anything else, this is something i'd rather set. I know with bannerbomb it installs this thing calls preloader, but not sure how to set it up etc.

As far as I know, the only way to do it is Preloader or Priiloader (and Priiloader should be preferred since it's more up to date in some ways).

Put the application.dol at the start of your root SD card.

Go to preloader 0.29 or whatever u have.

Go to setting, select load file on startup

Then go to install (on the root of the preloader menu), bam next time it will load.

Remember if u want ur config files place them also in the root of ur SD, or wherever the .dol app looks for them

I've downloaded Priiloader_v0_1.dol, do i put the it /sd/apps/folder and get it to open in HomeBrew Channel?? Then put application.dol (like configurable usb loader) onto root or SD card?

Remember if u want ur config files place them also in the root of ur SD, or wherever the .dol app looks for them

I assume he means config file(s) for your loader of choice. The loader .dol file used on startup will look for a config file(s), either at SD root, or in a folder. Just make sure they are in the right place.
