I would think Occarina codes could be made for game that would replace the NAND code with SD code.
Ya, it would probably be quite a large section of codes, and would be specific to each game, so the chance of someone wanting to take the time to do each game is unlikely, but it is certainly a possibility.

What ????? I really don't understand what you mean at all ???

There was another MUCH easier solution for this using a loader like gecko.

Loader has 2 Selections: Launch Game, and Options.

Options lets you setup patches, etc. but also lets you select from a list of games with saves on your wii.

Simply put a check box next to every game you want to have save games swapped for, OR use for all games.

Similar to Nintendos SD loading, if the game is checked to have data swapped, it checks the disc ID of the game you are loading. If such a save exists in NAND, it simply checks all other titles not being launched and ensures they are not in nand, moving them to the sd card if necessary. Otherwise, it checks for the save on the sd card and installs it if it exists.

Pretty much I just reordered:

Move to needed save to nand
Load Game
Move to SD

into

Move All to SD (if exist)
Move needed save to nand
Load game

Longer loading, but does the brunt of the work for ya

Hmm,

Back in the GC days:
I have a GC with Viper Extreme USB.

So I could dump a 24mb dump which could be used for Real State Save stuff!

I'm sure it is possible too with the Wii, and a USB Gecko.
I mean it either will be 24mb (duh) and it is USB 2.0 etc..

Just that it either will be a little unstable.. but coders these days will sure improve it!

If you didn't get my point yet.
A solution without waiting Nintendo finally open their brains to do stuff directly from SD or so.

Get a USB Gecko, wait or make a dump and restore thing of that 24MB dump and... profit! (Than you in fact have all 'saves' on your PC)

PKGINGO I tihnk Waninkokos "emulated NAND" is THE best solution, it will be totally transparent through loaders meaning it will load saves and save to SD/USB without you needing to do anyone.

My point today in posting was to say "It WILL happen soon" There is no better solution imho than the nand emu route.

Maybe a mod can lock this thread now as it's no longer needed
