Hello there

I'm quite long in the GBA emulation but never tried the NDS stuff out.

Now I want to try it out but I can not run any rom on my PC.

I downloaded all the emulators which are posted in the sticky thread here, I got some ROMs and I got the BIOS files but how can I use them??

With e.g. VisualBoyAdvance I can specify the path to the BIOS file in the emulator but I can not tell any emu the filepath.

So how do I have to rename them and where to place them propery in any emulator (I just want to run some)??

As far as i know, neither GBA nor DS needs a bios for an emulator to work.
Also....a gba emulator will never ever be able to play DS games...

Read around the forum for desmume or neeDS for your emulating needs.

As I read I'm no newbie and yes I tried out all NDS emulators mentioned in this forum sticky thread but none of them can play back the ROMs I tried and in none of them you can specify a path to the BIOS files as you can do in VBA for GBA ROMs which helps many ROMs there to run properly.

So my question is simple to all guys who posted the screenshots in this forum from some NDS emus WITH running games: How did you do that?? - Or do just very few specific ROMs run??

neeDS plays trauma center well

ideas plays phoenix wright well

If you can't get those to work, you are doing it wrong.

As for other games, yea many of them will not play.

Hmmm OK so it IS the problem of the ROMs.

I will try the mentioned ROMs.

But still then I don't get it why people were actually happy to see the BIOSes dumped.
I thought with them now compatibility problems are solved (like the use of BIOS files with the VBA for GBA games)?!
