No, the twilight hack works, but there's something about it that seems to be keeping most apps from running off the homebrew channel. At least from my own experience, the only thing I could get running was the wad manager, of which I could load several IOS files from, but I couldn't get anything like an IOS downgrader to work.
I'm not technically knowledgeable when it comes to Wii hacks, but I do realize some hacks require an Internet connection to function properly (to download files)... could this be your problem?
