Hacking I banner Bricked my Wii.

I thought the HBC would boot from the DVD. My bad.
I'll try again with wad manager.

Do I need a Game to replace the main.dol with, or can i use the freeloader iso? and replace the main.dol from that.
I'll keep you guys updated.

I Just replaced the DOL file on the Homebrew channel iso (http://hbc.hackmii.com/download/) Replaced the dol with WADmanager. Patched the iso to autoboot.

And it still doesn't work. If i insert the DVD when I have a black screen the disc don't start spinning. If i insert it while i have the warning screen the disc will keep spinning but nothing happens.

I feel bad for you, my friend. Things like this are bound to happen unfortunately until we get an easier method of creating the custom channels. It's not that the instructions deba94 created are hard to follow (I've created several custom channels so far...), but some people should just wait until someone makes a more automated way of creating the channels. The instructions aren't noob-proof unfortunately...

Then something is wrong with the autoboot.
Open up the ISO with an HEX editor, and change the first byte to "0" in text mode, or 0x30 in HEX mode. I've just made one, and it booted directly from the Warning Screen.

If my wii is bricked forever I'll just run hombrew on my other one. So it's no biggie.

Only one warning: There are some bricks that will freeze before the Warning screen. That means, the DVD won't boot. BE CAREFUL!!

Will that RAR that helped fix your problem only work if your wii is bricked because of a banner? Or will it fix any bricked wiis?

If it's a channel that bricks your wii, this will probably fix it

If it's something else this doesn't really help you.
