I'm trying to clean my cartridge of New Super Mario Bros because it's not working, it could be corrupted, but it's more likely dirty, and so I tried to clean it, and it looks like this.

Also, the picture is blurry, but the contacts/pins/whatever they're called are extremely dirty, and they all have a black line, which looks like pencil, wait, DID YOUNGER ME DRAW ON THE CONTACTS?! Also, the back is cracked. Is there any way to get it to work, or am I better off getting a new copy?

Edit: I erased a bit of one of the pencil lines, and it's working now.

Use isopropyl alcohol and Q-Tips to properly clean the cartridge pins, not a pencil as you can damage the cartridge more. Also, your cartridge most certainly looks like a bootleg, the Nintendo logo on the back uses a different bolder font.
