Hacking Idea for Wii games that need a disc

Some people have broken drives in their Wiis. They can't use the USB Loader for a handful of games that require a disc in the Wii drive.

Why can't someone with a USB Gecko create a "cheat" that disables the disc check? All the latest USB loaders have Ocarina support. In fact, the USB Loaders could build the "hack" for that game into the loader.

I doubt it would help, but what about using Ocarina to patch other non-working games to use a different IOS?
