Hacking In search of Joey Joebags (or similar Save/ROM reader +writer)

I can never find this thing in stock at Benn Venn's Shop. Is there something similar available in North America? I'm looking for a device that can back up saves from GB/GBC/GBA games and I want to experiment with reflashing some of the trashy Chinese Pokemon R/S/E knock-off carts.

I have identified the type of carts I have and it looks like they are supported by Joey Joebags.
