Hacking IOS249 question?

what is the latest version for IOS249? according to signCheck I have version 14 while NUSD shows version 65280 as the latest version, should I install that version over my version 14?

That high version number is a STUB. You will replace your cIOS with a IOS that's just there for the sake of being there if you do that. The latest cIOS is rev16

Version 65280 is the Antipiracy version from Nintendo, they made their own to prevent user to mod their Wii. Do not install it if you want to softmod it.

v65535 you can't get a cIOS from NUSD only official versions of 249 and 250 are stubs

When you install Waninkoko's cIOS by running cIOS38_rev14 installer, it installs it into slot 249. It also installs the same IOS into slot 250.

I think Waninkoko made it so in maxed out IOS250 when installing so Nintendo couldn't overwrite it. So, don't worry about IOS250. When you successfully install the cIOS it installs in into both 249/250 slots.

Hope that cleared some things up.

This is also why when I updated to 4.2 (officially, the day it came out) I could install cIOS38 rev14 using IOS250 without having to bugger around with other IOSes.
