Using the github software to load a rom to the IS Nitro Emulator via my Windows XP PC. I've run eNDryptS Advanced.exe on the rom, renamed the rom to go from .nds to .srl, loaded up IS-NITRO-DEBUGGER v2 to install, then double clicked on the newly renamed rom file.

The software thinks for a short bit and shows a progress bar, the DS controller flashes a couple times then shows the same error every time on a black screen that says "Unable to load data. Turn the power off and reinsert the Game Card".

I've checked the two boxes as I should prior to loading (reset hardware after file is loading and execute both processors after file loads". I've tried different roms, thinking maybe my first was bad or something. Same error every time.

I feel like I'm missing an obvious step, but not sure what it is. Or maybe I've just gotten unlucky and each rom is non-compatible? Not sure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I want to clarify this was for Mario Kart DS. No rom I've used runs. However, I just tried Animal Crossing, and while the game loads with graphics showing, the in game message reads “Unable to retrieve data. Please turn the power off and reinsert the Game Card.

So... it's working. Kinda.... ish............not really. Going to continue trying other roms.

Yeah, just tried Metroid Prime Pinball "Could Not Read The Data". I'm clearly not doing something if all these games are failing like this :/

Hey a thought occurred to me... If they are unexpected database errors, are there expected database errors?
