I was wondering if I could use the Call of Duty Black Ops USB headset for any other things such as my PC, if not are there any headsets that are compatible with the PC and the Wii?
'Kay thanks bye, Love Meena

Well I know from first hand experience that the Wii headset for COD Blacks Ops works on my WinXp PC.

I also know that the 2 other PC USB headsets I have did not work on COD BO

NO special drivers needed. WinXP had the drivers needed.

I suspect the only thing keeping a regular USB headset from working is the USBID.

Which I believe can't be changed...Unless there is some sort of device that can go between the headset and the Wii and report a different USBID? Never heard of such a thing, but I don't see why it couldn't be possible.

Thanks for the replies =) Do you think it would work with my PS3?
I remember reading that it does work on the PS3. Some guy on Gamefaqs posted that. I can't confirm though.

EDIT: See The Last post in this Thread.

That's awesome, this headset really seems like it will be worth every penny if it'll also work with my PS3.

yeah to use usb headsets (like wii headbanger) you need to go to your system settings on the ps3 then change the headset settings to allow the use of usb headsets.
