Try updating to 4.0 and you can do just that. Use the Waninkoko updater and made sure you have cIOS249 V10 installed before hand. There are plenty of tutorials and posts here how to do it.

Sure is, upgrade to 4.0 using waninkoko's firmware upgrader. System Menu 4.0 comes with an sd card menu, just move your channels to your sd card (through wii data management) then you can launch them via sd card menu.
