Is it possible yet via SX Pro/CFW/Homebrew to disable the WiFi from being used at all on a Switch?

To my knowledge the only current way to turn off Wifi is through Airplane mode and to remove any added Networks from the Switch settings menu.

I ask because I do not want my nephews to have the ability to connect with a hacked switch and get themselves banned. Expecting them to listen to my warnings of not connecting to the internet while I am not there will not be the smartest thing for me to do (lol).

I do not trust solely removing the network from the settings as there are so many hotspots/friend's houses etc. that they can and probably would try to connect to.

I'm looking for a homebrew that can possible disable the ability to add a network to your switch or disable the wifi completely. Is there anything released like this?

just go into the interent settings and set a DNS that stops connections only way around that is changing the DNS settings which i doubt they would know thats causing it

This will only work for the current wifi network you are connected to. This would not prevent them from connecting into a different wifi network however.

Why not add parental controls?

I was not aware that Parental Controls restricts the user from accessing Internet Settings. You could be on to something here.. If it does restrict users from connecting to Wifi Networks, would I have to setup individual Parental Controls for both OFW and CFW or does the OFW Parental Controls carry over to the CFW?

It should just carry over, and yes it does restrict access to internet settings

Thank you for the quick replies! I will look into this as a solution for my particular issue. Thanks! :)

Hey @Dionicio3 , I looked into the Parental Controls.

I can confirm that removing any Saved Networks and setting up Parental Controls prevents users from being able to add any Wifi Networks without having the Parental Control password.

This works perfectly for my needs. Thanks for the tip!

How to set up parental controls? I have 90DNS set up to block Nintendo servers, so the parental control app won't connect. Please don't tell me I need to restore my original NAND in order to setup parental controls before installing CFW...
