i am taking a trip and with my system (4.2) I am unable to launch rx without wifi.

Use the mset exploit? You can install ds profile exploit using browser that you can then use offline.

There is an online site that has several payloads for each mset exploit meant for each CFW. You can only install one mset exploit at a time and then use it offline.
I might edit this post to provide the link if I can find it, or wait someone else to help out.
