I'm scared this looks like a random crepypasta from 2014, after installing and trying the new version of Sonic Mania for Wii U after leaving the Homebrew Channel, I got a message that literally said: "to use the online services you need to update the console ", after I gave him to accept he said "Do you want to update the console?" with the option Yes and no, what do I do, I remember having followed all the steps of the Tiramisu and therefore blocking the updates of the console

What would happen if you didn't disable the autobooting? I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people with autoboot and standby enabled, so the update is problably ready to install the moment they power on the console...

I doubt Tiramisu would brick, even if it the update did mess with system titles (such as the health and safety title, this is why Tiramisu is harder to brick with than CBHC since updates rarely touch it, and formatting ignores system titles).

I could be wrong though so I wouldn't say no caution is needed, I just doubt it would brick. Feel free to prove me wrong though, as I very well could be.

i just updated and it works. I made sure to disable auto booting first then updating.

as I said, it will just say that you're on the latest firmware if you don't disable autoboot, nothing more.

I just updated both the 3ds and the wiiu. it removed my wiiu theme though, but I ftp'd it back over. no issues other than ftp server didn't do permissions correctly when recreating the update folder, so I had to use ftpii u everywhere.

Afaik, ntr needs an update on the 3ds, but I tested a backup on both. Worked without issue.

Just install. Luma doesn't need an update.

Oh okay, thank you it works, my 2ds xl updated to 11.16.0-48E version fine without needing to do anything. I disabled autobooting then updated as you said for Wii U and it updated to 5.5.6 fine too. Thank you once again developer.

where can i get safe wii u themes?, and how is it to be installed, I will search the internet
