Emulation Megaman ZX Advent Voicelines not working TwiLight Menu++

I've been using TwiLight Menu++ for some time and this seems to be the only issue I've run into so far and I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but no matter what I do the voicelines just don't seem to be playing. they play during cutscenes and gameplay but not during the actual dialogue. is there any quick fix for this?

The last time I tried that gamer on Twilight menu++ it played, but the voices crackled and lagged behind gameplay hella bad.
That was in 2021. I see not much has changed. :creep:
