Umm... the PS3 GH guitar is designed to act like a PS3 controller, while the Wii GH guitar is designed to act like a Wii Classic Controller (doesn't mean you can use the GH guitar as a classic controller).
Have you ever tried using a PS3 controller as a Wii Classic Controller? Did it work? Obviously not.
