Gaming My Ace Attorney Investigations keeps freezing.

Hi!

I'm very new to this. So please excuse if I use wrong words.

So my Ace Attorney Investigations game keeps freezing and I can't progress at a certain point in the game. I'm on case 5 and it won't let me progress past when Detective Badd tells us more details on the second murder.

I've tried downloading several different roms to no avail.

I'm using TWiLight Menu++ on a homebrewed 3DS if that helps. What else should I try to fix this problem?

Try turning off card read DMA in the per-game settings menu (opened by pressing Y).

I'm currently having the same issue, and I have tried disabling card read DMA.

Thought I'd be the ony one with this issue- All I did to pass it was on the menu run in DSi mode. Switched back when done.

I tried both RocketRobz and CDBiggen suggestion, nothing works.
EDIT: the only thing that works is exporting the save to DeSmuME on PC, playing it from chapter start to after finishing dialogue wit Det. Badd, save it and then export the new .sav file to the 3DS.
