Yep, I'm not Hadrian, but this is the real deal! Hadrian asked me to post this in his place since he wouldn't be able to, he wrote the whole thing though, I just checked the dates for changes and honestly, couldn't do much cause some games have one different date on each gaming site, this is particularly true with C.O.R.E. , found 4 different dates for the thing, all of them for March so it should be coming out this month, but don't rely too much on this thread date. I don't have much to say about the games.. Echoes of Time looks fun, and Don King Boxing got some good reviews, it could be a good, more realistic boxing experience on the Wii, of course, Punch-Out!! is coming later this year, but it's something more arcade-y. Anyway, Hadrian should be back soon, for now, enjoy the thread <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

<-- That guy there, CockroachMan, he is a good egg and he has kindly agreed to post these threads for me until I get my nets back. Theyr'e around here somewhere...maybe next to a crusty sock.

A good enough week, great for RPG fans I guess. OH SHIT ITS C.O.R.E.! You shitting me?

I've introduced a "GBAtemp Wanted Level" where I try and think how much a game is wanted by YOU. I may get it wrong but its there to stop the bitching and moaning just because I don't want something that much.

<!--coloro:#483D8B--><span style="color:#483D8B"><!--/coloro--><u><b>Read to know when a game could be dumped:</b></u>
These dates are what retailers say is out unless stated otherwise, sometimes they make dates up for pre-ordering purposes. These dates could also be "shipping dates" which usually means that that's the date when games get shipped to stores so a game could either be in stores on that day or after. Some games may get delayed some others not listed may appear but at the moment of posting these are correct. Also just because a game is released in stores it doesn't mean that they'll appear on our internets but NA titles usually appear on our 'nets Wednesday night UK time. I love you like a something loves something.<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->

I'm sure many are wanting this game but I cant say I care, the Japanese version didn't really do it for me and I wasn't into Ring of Fates and this is said to be much worse. Essentially its a online specific FFCC game so treat it that way I guess.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->A triumphant return from a monster-infested forest marks the completion of the 16-year-old hero's coming-of-age ceremony. However, the hero's joy is short-lived as a young village girl is found to be afflicted by a mysterious illness known as "crystal sickness." Determined to obtain the cure, the hero steps out of the secluded village for the first time, only to discover a world in which crystals are merely artefacts of the past and no longer exist...

Maintaining the intuitive control scheme of Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates and enhancing the gameplay experience with an integrated system that allows players to switch between the single and multiplayer modes in-game, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is set to take multiplayer gaming to new heights as it brings together Wii and DS users from around the world.

* Play anytime, anywhere with anyone! Multiplayer connectivity reaches new heights in FINAL Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time, where players can team up or compete with friends and players around the world
* The intuitive control scheme introduced in Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates returns
* Players can switch between single and multiplayer modes within the game world itself, giving them two great gaming options in one integrated experience
* A personalized hero can be generated from a choice of the four familiar races of the series; Clavats, Lilties, Selkies or Yukes
* A vast selection of quests provides hours of fun, even after completion of the main adventure<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

After a countless amount of FF games released in the last few years, I really couldn't care less about this game. Famitsu rated the DS version 30/40 though they seem to like rating Square Enix games high. They say that both versions have really bad lag when you play online. Other reviews say its just "ok". RPG fans will surely fap over this and its Wii counterpart, well hey seem to go for anything RPG related but each to their own eh? The rest of us may wanna try it as it may be decent enough to pass the time with.

Konami haven't been to great on the DS with exception to a few titles, they sort of shifted to releasing stuff Ubisoft usually release. Here though is quality looking title that could be up there with Time Hollow. ITs actually a spin off of the well made Suikoden series that have been fairly popular and is the first to not feature on a PS/PS2 console.
<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Lux-Pain is set in historical Kisaragi City, a town plagued by mysteries from small mishaps to murders - with no logical explanation as to why these events occur. To avenge his parents, Atsuki goes through a dangerous operation to acquire Lux-Pain in his left arm, a power so strong that his left eye turns golden when using it to seek and destroy Silent for good.

Showcasing the work of hot Japanese animator Robin Kishiwada, whose credits include cover illustrations for Eureka Seven series, Lux-Pain features music composed by Kenji Ito, well-known for the music in SaGa, Mana, and Culdcept series’, and Yasuyuki Suzuki, of Operation Logic Bomb, Tail of the Sun, and Space Invaders Extreme fame.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

More of the same? Well thats fine as long as the levels are different and there are new modes. Oh looky...WFC!

New stuff? New boss formations, enchance multiplayer and a new "bingo" systems.

Well I'd doubt I'd wanna buy this game at all, I didn't think the first game needed a sequel but if you have yet to try this game then I highly recommend that you pick this one up.

Well finally! Remember when I first showed you folks this retro FPS game way back in 2007? <a href="http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=54134&hl" target="_blank">http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=54134&hl</a>

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->C.O.R.E. is the first classic FPS game designed for the Nintendo DS console. Its story concentrates on a meteor crash and its unpredictable effects. As one of the elite marine soldiers, you have been sent with your squad on a secret mission into the laboratory complex built on the meteor crash site. You will explore various locations, starting from the exterior parts of the complex, through underground laboratories, living quarters, warehouses until finally reaching the secret beneath the base. Your aim: uncover mysteries about the meteor by solving several quests. You will become aware of the danger, threatening the existence of all humankind, which has been buried underground for twenty years.

* Complete 15 huge, shocking levels, discover different ways through them. They are not linear, so there are always different routes to complete them.
* Reveal the mysterious story of the meteor crash guarded by 20 different enemies ranging from insane marines and mad scientists to big deadly mutants.
* Choose from 8 types of guns such as: blaster, shotgun, plasma gun and rocket launcher. Some of the guns have alternate firing methods or optical zoom
* Enjoy the interactive world: use vehicles and operate interactive tools like switches, controllers, access cards, open boxes and blow up objects.
* Get into the dark, murky atmosphere intensified by heavy music and advanced graphics.
* Watch in-games movies, which introduce you to the scenario elements and present the major quests.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

THERE IS NO WI-FI MODE I REPEAT THERE IS NO WI-FI MODE! Why? I guess the developers couldn't be bothered. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/frown.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="frown.gif" /> Anyway a lot of people want this game but I feel that they are expectign way too much from this game, just expect a good little Quake 2 style game and thats all. Hopefully it wont be as dull as Moon was. Its been a while since I played a FPS like Quake 2 (Doom 3? Man that game has aged badly) so I welcome this, lets just hope we don't get too much cramp from it. <b>Note:</b> This date isn't confirmed, so don't moan if it doesn't come out.

Way to promote a game Capcom! 08? I guess it was meant for last year but needed tweeking. Well that is a good sign right? That Capcom delayed the game to make it better...right?

Graphically from the shots shown it looks a lot better than most Wii racers. This is also on 360 & PS3 and I hope that Capcom haven't let those version come first and this just a crappy port.

I had no interest in this game, and then I saw the scores from the press. All of which were rating this with high 8's.

<!--quoteo--><div class='quotetop'>QUOTE</div><div class='quotemain'><!--quotec-->Don King Boxing is equal parts sports simulation and true boxing drama that takes place both inside and outside the ring. The action within the squared-circle accurately mimics the sport’s tactics and hard knocks by allowing players to create angles and openings using a full arsenal of true 3D motion captured movement and punch mechanics found only in the real world sport ... until now.

Outside the ring, the drama continues as the player is faced with temptations inherent in any professional athlete's life, where they must balance these trappings of notoriety with the hardship of training in order to find the road to glory.

* Full Wii-Mote functionality takes full advantage of the unique motion-sensing capabilities of the Wii remote and nunchuck controller.
* Boxercise Mode will add some kick to your home fitness routine with training games that effect your boxer’s in-ring stats, takes advantage of the Wii Fit board to count calories burned during workout and set fitness goals, and allows you to use your own balance board in training exercises.
* Engaging and unique career mode presented in a never before seen sports documentary style.
* Unique fight mechanics include true-to-life boxing tactics, new “Killzone” shots driven by boxer adrenaline and crowd momentum, plus seven unlockable, crushing signature punches.
* 31 current and legendary boxing champs including licensed active boxing champs Joe Calzaghe, Kelly Pavlik and Andrew Golota, and all-time classics Ken Norton, Joe Louis and The Cinderella Man James Braddock.
* 14 fight gyms and arenas including the renowned Madison Square Garden, Trump’s Taj Mahal, and Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
* Multiplayer lets you go head-to head against your opponents on the same machine or online to see who is the better fighter pound-for-pound.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Sounds ace, the reviews have been great, its not fuck ugly and apparently uses the motion controls well. May well beat Punch-Out.
