Homebrew [NDS] Yet Another nds-bootstrap Forwarder: more than 40 forwarders are now possible

I don't know how this app works, but forwarders iirc were about 2-3MBs apiece, and they're installed to twl nand, which is where dsi games go. there's not much room though, only 100 something megabytes.

128MB for 3DS TWLNAND, 256MB on the DSi NAND.

DSiWare forwarders should be less than a megabyte. There's not a lot going on, it doesn't have graphics or anything. 3DS forwarders reach about a megabyte but this doesn't matter because 3DS forwarders install to the SD card and you probably have a big one, knowing the community.

You don't need to use command line. The instructions show how to use the graphical version.

alright so i wrote a quick bash script which basically lets you assign a default custom path so you dont have to enter it 1 by 1 in the gui. i have to do like 700 something roms so i made it for that. first prompts for directory of roms on your computer. enter that, no need to do anything special for spaces or other characters, just enter as is. next it prompts you for the custom directory, i.e. where the roms will be on the sd card. enter it the same way. then basically just let it run. its really short and you can probably change it to do what you need, like add flags or whatever. no idea if its useful or not, but saved me a ton of time so here it is
change it from .txt to .sh, move to generator folder, and give executing permissions to run it
if you're using it for a lot of roms then make sure its like the only thing running or you have a lot of power to spare or else it will crash your computer

Hi there, I continue to get the error "Start failed. Error -1" each time I try to boot a NDS game. I've followed the guide to the letter, even went back and reformatted my microSD and still get the same results. Can't seem to get anything to run unless I use TWiLight Menu, which works perfectly.

try manually putting in the paths when u make the cias in the custom path box. it should look something like D:/roms/nds/[rom].nds for each one

Yeah, put a usrcheat.dat at either sd:/_nds/ntr-forwarder/usrcheat.dat or sd:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/extras/usrcheat.dat then hold Y while loading the forwarder and press X once the menu opens for cheats

Ah, interesting. Thanks for the heads up on that. Although, it seems like the SM64DS Analog Stick mod doesn't seem to work with the forwarders for some reason. I'm wondering if its because of not being able to communicate with the other processors properly or something.

Do you have TWPatch set up? You need to be using TWPatch for rtcom

Yeah, I have TWPatch set up, and even made sure rtcom was setup.

At the moment, no.

Do you have an example game? I'm pretty certain I use the regular title as opposed to the short title for the main name, so I'm pretty sure it's long enough?
