I replaced the top screen in my New 3DS XL, and now the screen works fine. The issue now is that when I enable 3D mode, the image just splits and is not correctable. I have run calibration but it doesn't do anything. I can definitely take it apart and re-examine the cables and all, but I'm curious what controls this? I'm pretty sure I need to check the camera, because that could be an issue, but what other cable/contact would control 3D mode?

I've been having the same issue since I opened my N3DS XL to clean the screen lens. The situation is pretty much the same as what you described; 3D mode only shows a split, blurry upper screen and neither the 3D calibration nor super stable 3D settings have any effect. The outer and inner cameras seem to work fine, so I'm also having trouble figuring out what the issue could be. I guess for now the best we can do is to not use the 3D feature.

I also bought a new 3ds xl online that was not working and replaced the motherboard.
It started working again but also has the ghosting effect your described above.
Not sure how to fix it
Did you manage to find a solution?

I remember years ago while vacationing in Florida, was walking along the beach, and come along a group of naked people sunbathing, wouldn't have been bad but I had my 9yr old daughter w me. I didn't know then that they have nudist beaches down there. (St. Petersburg, FL) Not sure if still do, was 20 yrs ago.

I'm surprised there's no religion where you're always naked. and people arguing that it's their religion to be so, as it's how god created us
