Hacking New Internet Channel...Safe To Install?

Just curious if it is safe to install the new Internet Channel, or will it "break" homebrew?

Ahhh no... It is perfectly safe to download it from the Wii Shop. It is nice to see the Original Super Mario and his 3 blocks for a progress bar.

i go to the shop channel without any problem, click on internet channel update and i have this error

Yesterday and now, the same code error.

I unistalled the old internet channel from the system menù [erase internet channel]

use the wad manager to uninstall it - you can still uninstall it if you erased it from the system menu

supposedly after the update there is some bug , you could not dump back your Nand on your Wii and some protected save cannot be move anymore anyone else can confirm ??

probably rumors, it's hard to believe a simple channel update could interfere with NAND backup or save managment in the system menu, even if they included an IOS update as well (which has not been reported)

just update your Internet Channel like thousand of other people already did and don't be so paranoiac, it didn't harmed anybody (yet)

I've installed the new internet channel and can confirm that all my homebrew including USB loader GX still works perfectly. Only problem is that BBC Iplayer cannot be used with the new release (yet). No big deal unless you really have to watch tv on your Wii

Wow.. I didn't know they were making the Internet Channel free again... I got it way back when it was free the first time so I guess no free game for me.
