As already stated the reason it doesnt have very good compatibility is because it was made for DEBUG builds which are specially designed to work in ensata and most rom dumps are RELEASE builds which arent locked out in ensata its just that ensata doesnt emulate the ARM7 properly like other emulators do

I wonder how well it all works with Microwerks CodeWarrior (the official NDS SDK) thats recently been leaked. If both work well together, this could be amazing for homebrew development, although the compiled binairies would be illegal, just like in the xbox scene...

Imagine developing homebrew for the DS all on your PC.... Imagine stepping through lines of DS codes in a comprehensive IDE...
