Hacking No display

I was given an Xbox 360 slim Corona board it has already been rgh modified and has the Corona post fix adapter but the console will not give me no display no matter what I can sync a controller to it but it don't show it is as I get none of the 4 ring lights only the middle light any ideas?

Do you see a green/red light blink when it's trying to boot?
Try to look in between the ventilation slots on the console.

Yes the red light is closest to the vent and the green light I'm assuming is the glitching will flash off and in and go solid then start flashing again

I took the whole system apart to check it out from what I can see all the wires are nice and tightly soldered

Have you tried bleeding the power from the console?
Tried booting it without anything other then Power + HDMI attached?

I just tried that last night everything except the DVD drive since it won't power on without that connected

I can sync a controller but after it syncs it still continues to flash light it's trying to connect to the console but I know it's synced cause it will turn it on via the middle button

Hm, sounds like you might have to reprogram the chip.
I was hoping it would be a chip that auto tunes itself so the issue would be resolved quickly...
Any clue what chip you have?

Those aren't autotune chips no.

Ehh, have you tried booting it via the eject button?
It's fine if it takes a while, it booting to XeLL will rule out the chip + hack.

Nope, just press it once and wait for a blue screen to pop up.
Additional question, have you got the NAND dump and CPU key of the machine?
Would make things easier and brick proof ;p

Ok does it matter on the cable used HDMI or component?

I've RGH'd hundreds of systems, never experienced an advantage between the two tbf.

iirc, 4 red lights means something is wrong with the video connection (i.e. like if it's not detecting the cable). I don't know if it will display that if say something is wrong with the chips themselves or just the connection.

I'm wondering how it's done as I've heard that muffin installs could damage the console.

I think reprogramming the chip might work but you'd need to solder shit and get programmers... a dead chip wouldn't do shite after all.
If it is a "muffin install problem" then it might mean the end of story for the 360.

I do know that brickmii82 did the install for it. The console was my gfs kids their dad gave it to me since it isn't working
