ROM Hack North America GBA carts - Japanesse Game fix

Anyone know how to change the HG/SS jap games to work with North Amer GBA carts. Thanks.

HG/SS are DS games.
DS games are region-free.

I don't think there is a way to make that happen... You could just transfer it to your English Platinum/Diamond/Pearl and then trade it to your HG/SS.

I know it was done when platinum was first released in jap so wondered if anyone knew how, I just remeber it envolved hex editing the region areas for the GBA games from the jap games and replacing it with the NA game info.

I think so. There's no compatibility issues data-wise that I'm aware of, this kind of thing is just locked out. The devs did it with Battle Revolution too IIRC.
