Hello,
I installed the NSO Nintendo 64 app in cfw, and I was wondering what folder on the sd card does the NSO N64 emulator save to? Do the saves even go on the sd card? Or do they go into the internal storage?

Also, do you have to be online to use the NSO N64 app and play the games available? Is it optional?

Thank you for the help!

Nintendo Switch Online is an official app, not a homebrew emulator. It saves the same way any other switch game saves, so it doesn't matter if it's SD/EMMC/EMUMMC... you'll still need to use jksv or something to dump/copy//edit/alter the save. You need to make sure it's linked to an NNID using something like https://github.com/rdmrocha/linkalho. If you still can't launch it after linking, try again with your switch in airplane mode.

All official apps/games save to the internal storage.

The stock version requires an online check I believe but there is a patched version.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
