overclocking in Wii/Cube mode??

Hello to everyone in the community.

I've always had a question about overclocking the Wii U.

I know that for Wii U games it would be impossible due to the architecture being used in its entirety.
however and for Wii and GameCube games???
increase FPS and resolution rates using Wii U hardware??

Isn't the hardware for Wii/GC exactly the same as a real Wii and GC?

As far as I know it is possible, but you would need to manually patch every game you want to overclock. I believe you can do that using cafe2wii patcher.
