Hi

I have Phantasy Star Zero (U) on my R4 card, but there seems to be a problem connecting to my wifi connection.
First of all, I have the latest kernel (1.18) for the R4 and I needed to apply an arm7 fix to the game in order to make it work.

Everything works fine except for the wifi connection, it's very strange because with the same settings I can connect with Mario Kart and all my other games. It doesn't even return an error code or anything else, it just tries to connect forever with the wireless icon permanently red.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

P.S: sorry for my english

first, i would suggest change your firmware to wood r4 1.11
you don't need to patch to run the game and better compatiblity with other games

second which version of the rom are you using ? XPA or bahamut
if i am not wrong.. one of the version could not connect to wifi
i was using the XPA version and it was working fine for me

I'm using Bahamut. I was dumb enough to play a lot offline before trying to go online, will my saved games still be working with wood?
In any case I'll try the XPA version first, thanks for your help

your .sav will work with wood
what you need to do is...
rename your .sav to .nds.sav ( also don't forget to make a backup just incase something happens )
and make sure the save name is the same as the rom name

Sorry for the double post, I just wanted to let you know that changing the firmware to wood and using the XPA rom did the trick. It was a problem with the bahamut rom.
