Hardware Planning to change the battery of my DS Lite. Anything I should know?

So I have found some good options for a new battery.

The first one is an 850 mAh Battery from Cameron Sino. From what I've heard batteries from that company are pretty trustworthy even with lower mAh. The second battery also claims to be compatible for the DS Lite, it is 2000 mAh which is double than the normal DS Lite battery.

Are these safe to just plug into the DS? Thanks.

Inflated (fake) capacity ratings on batteries don't make a seller trustworthy. The problem with all aftermarket batteries is the inconsistent quality and performance. Be prepared to buy a few different batteries to find a good one. They aren't expensive after all.
