Gaming Play on Private/Public Lan -Play servers (Doesn't need a hacked switch, no bans, no Nintendo Online)

1. Download the lan-play client - http://tiny.cc/ia77fz ( Download and install WinPcap - http://tiny.cc/ye77fz )
   
   
2. Change your Switch's Wi-Fi IP to anything from "10.13.0.1" to "10.13.255.254" (Use"10.13.37.1" for the Gateway and "255.255.0.0" as Subnet Mask).
   
   
3. Change your Switch's DNS to primary "163.172.141.219" and secondary "45.248.48.62"
   
   
4. Open lan-play.exe (lan-play client above)
   
   
5. Type in the server address (below) and press enter.
   
   
6. On your switch with the details from above setup do a test connection to the internet.
   
   
7. If it passes and connects you are done and ready to play the game.
   
   
8. In Pokemon Sword/Shield press [L] + [R] + [LStick] in Options screen.

A bunch have Lan mode built in like Mario Kart 8, Pokken, Splatoon 2 but this was to inform that Pokémon SWSH specifically has that mode also.

Yeh this game a few other have an offical lan-mode but it’s always hidden.

DNS + IP using the PC app does the work.

No they don't support LAN

You can't actually connect to the internet if your console is banned, but if you connect to a lan-play server, when you log in you will start noticing stamps of different players making max raids, trades, battles and so on which you can participate in, basically you can interact with whoever is connected to the same lan-play server.

Have you input any name for your SSID yet? Make sure every single entry is filled in
