So, I've recently purchased two DSi and a bunch of Pokémon games to play the generations I've skipped. The problem is: I live in Japan... so all the games are in Japanese, but I wanted the physical copies anyway. My original idea in these quarentine times was to complete the whole dex and transfer forward throughout the generations until I can get all the mons in my switch.
Since I actually wanted to play the games (due to the language issues), I'm using the Twilight menu (v21.4.0) to play Pokémon Soul Silver to get the pokemon I need and transfer to my physical copy of Pokémon Heart Gold. BUT, whenever I can get in the Trade Union Room, even though I can see the other DS player in the room, the rom one freezes.
The original cartridge works fine, but in the room, as soon the other player appears in the room, the game freezes.
Is there any solution for that? Or is there another way to transfer my pokemon between games?

OMG. A Very EXPENSIVE way to find out
