What do you mean a different ROM. It's a save issue, isn't it?

Despite my best intentions, it still gets used for things like this. -.-

How exactly do you inject save files back into a commercial rom (I would love to fix my pokemon game, I accidentally did something extremely stupid...)?jaywilson said:and then inject it back into his diamond cartridge haha

Yeah, that would be pretty sweet for easily cloning loads of pokemon from one save to another. But I can imagine this being a lot harder than a PID gen, so I wouldn't get your hopes up.jurassicplayer said:Chase-san, i know you have alot on your plate but just a suggestion . . . .jaywilson said:and then inject it back into his diamond cartridge haha

NDS Backup Tool by Rudolph.
There are Slot-2, WiFi, and 3-in-1 versions, and each allows you to dump ROMs and Saves from a retail cart to a flashcart, and also allows you to upload saves to the retail cart. Pretty damn awesome, since it lets me copy my saves from my games onto my flashcart, so I can play all my games with the saves all on one cart.

Once you'v rebuilt the homebrew and added pid generator [shiney, alternate forms ect.]
Would be it possible that there could be a file in root of your flashcart, called "pkmn files"[or anything really] in which you could put pkmn files. So that pokesav_ds can find them and thay can be injected into the sav.
Dont know if its possible but it would be really awesome
Chase-san said:Actually a PKM import export funciton is fairly straight forward, mostly laziness in that case. Hopefully eventually.
r11 is taking so long because I have rewritten almost the entirety of the entire application. From the ground up. (this means the graphics system as well). However once I finish the toolkit (all that is left is the kana board, the list box, and a screen widget), I can start back on the real application.

I have a clean rom and my save is 512k.
