Just a heads-up: it seems that Wii remotes cannot be synced from the Preloader menu. As such, be careful not to sync all of your Wiimotes to another Wii if you don't have Preloader set to autoboot System Channel (or anything else you can sync from).
I'm running Preloader 0.29 on 4.0U, and brought two of my remotes to a friend's house and synced them to his Wii for some 4 player action. Upon returning home, I found that I could not re-sync the remotes to my Wii (which defaults to the Preloader menu). Fortunately, I had a 3rd remote that I left home, and was able to get to the System Menu to re-sync the other 2. I believe a Gamecube controller could have done the job as well, but I'm not near my Wii right now to test it.
