Hacking Problems playing Other M from a DVD

Sorry to be the billionth person to ask for help regarding this game but I thought maybe someone would be generous enough to give advice. The wii in question is softmodded with cios 249rev19, the firmware version is 4.1U. Neogamma spits out an "error 1255" while gecko OS simply says there is no DVD in the drive. I'm using WinData DVD+R DLs. Anyone have any idea what's going wrong? Maybe just a bad brand of DVDs?

I could be completely wrong, but I seem to recall reading that Other M's retail disc is a Dual Layer disc, so it won't work burnt on normal DVDs. Apparently loading it from USB works just fine.

Does Smash Bros. Work for you? I am having the same issue. PeregrinFig, he stated he was using a Dual Layer disc to burn.

Pretty sure dvd+r don't work

try it on a dvd-r because I had that same problem with a different game

metroid other m is a duel layer game so I'm still waiting to find out if duel layer games can be burnt and played on neo gamma

I have Never used anything except dvd+r! Works perfect.
