Gaming Proper way to update games (fpkg)

Okay so I just bought my very first ps4 and I was wondering how to properly update games? Let's say the game I installed is on version 1.0 and there are several updates for that game eg. 1.2, 1.3 and so on. Can I install the latest update straight away (given it's still for fw 6.72 or under) or do I have to install those updates one by one? Will it "brake" the game if I only install the latest available? Thanks!

You only need to install latest version of the update. Also you can't install legit pkg updates over an fpkg game, you need fpkg updates.

if you have some legit games, I might be able to help you dump the patches to turn into fpkg. it's not very hard, just time-consuming.

Thanks guys, I don't have legit games except for fifa 19 which came with my console and hasn't been opened haha.
