PS3 Version of Bayonetta Getting Update

Sega’s announced it’ll be releasing a title update for Bayonetta on PS3.The update will allow you the option to install the game onto your HDD.It comes after one of the biggest sticking points for the Sega-ported version was long loading times.It’ll release in Japan tomorrow. Nothing yet on when it is coming west.

Well at least it would speed up the loading times, hopefully a fix for framerate dips too.

Of course, a proper port to PS3 hardware using the power it has would be better, but this is a nice solution too.

A bit unrelated, but Valve should have done this with The Orange Box.

To be honest i think the bitching over the ps3 version is really hyberbolical.
I finished it on ps3 on normal and hard before i saw the 360 version at a friend of mine!
Ok, loading times are a punch in the face but i never had any bad framerate drops or washed out colours.
The patch will be appreciated of course!

All in all this is maybe the greatest action game my ps3 has seen, even though Sin&Punishment 2 is in its own leauge!

You're right. Well, EA should release a patch then.

Once again a PS3 game needs a mandatory installation just to perform at normal levels.

Its too bad installing the game wont fix the inferior graphics.
